Gráinne’s passion for the creation of new contemporary ambiences for traditional Gaelic song has conceived two stunning albums to date; 'Teanga na nGael' (2011) & 'Gaelré' (2015).
Gráinne’s love of Irish music and song began at an early age. A realisation of the Gaelic language revival in the North of Ireland, she was raised in both Gaelic and English and attended the first Gaelic-medium school in Belfast. It was here that her love of traditional song was fostered.

Produced by renowned musician Dónal O’Connor (At First Light), the ground breaking album has launched a career that brought the charm of Gaelic song to new audiences throughout Europe and the USA.
‘Gaelré’ (2015) further affirms Gráinne’s commitment to invigorating the Gaelic song tradition. The album was conceived and driven by a passion to follow the highest standards in contemporary production and arrangement, allowing for the introduction of innovative techniques while maintaining the original traditional beauty. Published by Gael Linn, ‘Gaelré’ is available from September 2015 and features instrumental performances by John McSherry, Dónal O’Connor, Neil Martin, Sean Óg Graham, Brendan Mulholland, Eamon Murray Michael Mc Cague & Micky Mc Closkey.
